SPRING 13
17. - 18. July 2018
SIDAR's graduate workshop for reactive security (SPRING) is held at the OTH Regensburg from 17th to the 18th of July 2018.
SPRING is organized by the special interest group Security - Intrusion Detection and Response (SIDAR) of the German Informatics Society (GI) and hosted by the Laboratory for Information Security OTH Regensburg.
Participation is free of charge, but a binding registration is required.
Concept
Why to attend?
The SPRING Workshop offers young scientists in the field of reactive safety the opportunity to establish contacts beyond their own university. We invite Bachelor-/Master and PhD students to present their work at SPRING. The submitted abstracts will be collected and published as technical reports that can be quoted and be published.

The OTH Regensburg is located in the Regensburg South End. It can be easily reached by public transport (Route 6 or 11) or by car. You will find further information about parking and how to get there on the OTH Regensburg Website (Building sign K)

Call for Abstracts
Deadline: 25. June 2018
SPRING is a venue for presentation of early-stage research in the field of IT-Security.
SPRING solicits submission of scientific papers presenting novel research on malware analysis,
intrusion detection, and related systems security topics.
We invite Bachelor/Master students and PhD students to present their work. The presentations can
cover a broad spectrum, from ongoing projects, which may be presented to a wider audience for the
first time, to completed research projects, which were or are to be presented at conferences or
which form a focus of the own master thesis or dissertation.
As per our tradition, SPRING encourages submissions from the following broad areas:
- Analysis of Vulnerabilities
- Intrusion Detection
- Malware Detection
- Incident Management
- Forensics
